1. Check out the beautiful fall scenery on the Heart of Ohio Trail.
Starting in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the Heart of Ohio Trail runs to the Village of Centerburg. The trail offers close to 20 miles of walking, in-line skating, geocaching and biking. With over 19 bridges and a wide variety of wildflowers, trees and birds, this trail is the perfect place to take in some of Ohio’s best fall scenery.

3. Seek thrills at Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends.
From Sept. 17 through Oct. 31, attendees can enjoy Cedar Point’s Halloween-themed fun at HalloWeekends Thursdays through Sundays. 4. Find your perfect pumpkin at Pigeon Roost Farm.
Located in Hebron, Ohio, Pigeon Roost Farm is full of pumpkin fun for everyone! Most of the pumpkins are put on display to make it easy for kids to pick their favorites. In addition to pumpkin picking, you can also shop from their market for more of your fall favorites and check out various local crafters on the weekends. The farm also has a corn maze, kids’ play areas, wagon rides, face painting and more!
5. Get spooked on a ghost tour.
There are a variety of freakishly fun ghost tours available throughout Ohio. Hear tales of ghosts, ghouls and more on a haunted walking tour put on by Columbus Ghost Tours, Haunted Tiffin Ghost Walks and the “Queen City is Haunted” tour, to name a few.
