While not everyone has the time to devote entire weeks to driving across the United States, many people are able to take a long weekend. Sitting at one of the many access points to the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg is an off-the-beaten-path destination. Check out the Gatlinburg Space Needle, which offers amazing views of the Great Smoky Mountains, or enjoy some hiking that’s sure to excite anyone with a love for the outdoors.
