What’s New at Universal Orlando Resort in 2019?

Universal Orlando Resort is more than just a theme park. Families come for the rides, food and entertainment, but return again and again for the fully-immersive experiences with their favorite characters. And this year, Universal Orlando is adding to the excitement. Come see new attractions, dining experiences and a brand new hotel complex.

TODAY Café
Step into the world of broadcast television at Universal Studio Florida’s new restaurant, TODAY Café. Designed to mimic the TODAY show set, you’ll feel like a real-life talk show host. Enjoy New York-inspired sandwiches, salads and locally-roasted coffees. There’s even seasonal dishes inspired by co-anchor, Al Roker’s favorite recipes. Oh, and if you’re a fan of Kathie Lee and Hoda’s fourth hour of TODAY, you’re in luck. The café serves wine, beer on tap, and a traditional cheese platter for two.

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure
The newest addition to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opens June 13. Join Hagrid as he guides you outside of Hogwarts castle and through the Forbidden Forest on this captivating coaster experience. As a student of Hagrid’s Care of Magical Creatures class, you’ll encounter rare, magical creatures of the wizarding world, including a Centaur, Fluffy the three-headed dog and more. So, board a magical motorbike (or sidecar) and explore the dark forest at speeds up to 50 mph—it’s an adventure you don’t want to miss.

Attention budget-conscious families—two new value hotel options are coming to Universal Orlando. With rates starting at less than $100/night, families can enjoy exclusive benefits and the entire Universal experience at a price they love. Universal’s Endless Summer Resort is comprised of two hotels, designed with a fun, surf and beachy vibe. Now, you’ll have to wait until next year to stay at Dockside Inn & Suites (March 2020), but Surfside Inn and Suites opens June 27.
